A CASE STUDY FEATURING THE DESIGN PROCESS BEHIND AMERICA’S BIGGEST SMALL EXHIBIT.

THE SALLY HEMINGS EXPERIENCE

In this exhibit, GSM Project designed a multimedia experience to share the story of Sally Hemings and the many other hundreds of enslaved people who served Thomas Jefferson in Monticello, Virginia. My task was to document the visitor experience and interview key players who participated in the creative process of this highly pertinent museum space.

I had the pleasure of traveling to Virginia where I spent two days capturing the visitor experience and filmed interviews inside the Thomas Jefferson Foundation. The GSM team was then interviewed in the Montréal offices to share the creative process behind it all.
