Surrounded by volcanic landscapes, The Aquiares Coffee plantation is mostly known for its distinctive third wave coffee but very few people are actually aware of its community-driven business model. Sustainability and conservation lie at the root of its production while the farm also offers services, land, security and honest jobs for the hard working community members. In return, the coffee farm has benefited from a well-educated community and relies on highly skilled professionals to continue functioning.
