The small village of Sayulita is located on the western coast of Mexico, only an hour away from the highly touristic Puerto Vallarta airport. The village definitely has Bali vibes and attracts a wide array of passionate surfers, yoga enthusiasts and partygoers. It’s easy to lose track of the 5,000 locals when thousands of tourists invade the beaches and bars but I wanted to photograph what life looks like for people that are not only passing through.
